Quick Pay on Wonderschool 2.0

What is Quick Pay?

Quick Pay is a Wonderschool feature that has become available to every provider in our platform. It is the fastest way to get paid by parents! It allows providers to simplify their business operation and set up automatic payments with parents to get paid on time, every time. Parents will enjoy the convenience of automatic payments and getting the invoices and reminders through email. There is no additional fee for the user. 

Why Should providers care about it?

With Quick Pay providers can now get paid much faster within 1-2 business days, instead of the previous timeline of 7-10 business days. 

How do providers set up Quick Pay? 

Providers do not need to do anything! This feature will be available to everyone by default. 

How do Quick Pay invoices differ from traditional invoices?

When an invoice is a quick pay invoice, there will be a lightning bolt sign next to the invoice in light green (see the first row in the image below on the right side).

When an invoice is paid via Quick Pay, the lightning bolt sign color gets updated to darker green (see the last row in the image above on the right side). 

When an invoice is not eligible for Quick Pay, the lightning bolt sign stays gray (see the middle row in the image below on the right side).

How do invoices become eligible for Quick Pay?

1. A parent needs to have a payment method on file for Quick Pay to go into effect, whether it is a card or bank account. 
2. The parent must be on automatic payment. Learn how to start auto pay here!
3. A parent should have had two previous successful payments completed via Wonderschool (not marked manually as paid). This ensures that we can utilize the Quick Pay process reliably for future payments.
4. If a payment fails, the parent becomes ineligible for Quick Pay until they have two new successful payments completed via Wonderschool. After these two successful new payments, Quick Pay will be turned back on for that family.
