How to Find PIN Numbers in Wonderschool

There is an option for parents and staff to sign in their child on the Wonderschool app with a PIN number if you are using a SHARED device. For example, if you have one shared tablet that all parents use to sign in, you can use PIN numbers. If you have teachers who each have their own tablet for their classroom, they can use PIN numbers for the parents of children in their classroom. 

Shared device has specific login and password. To generate a log in and password for your shared device click on School Settings

Click on "Shared Devices"

Click on "+Add" button. 

Add information about your device and name your device. 

Click "Save"

Click on the newly added device to view the username and password. 

When you log in with the generated username/password you will be presented with keypad where parents and staff can log in using their PIN code. 

In the Wonderschool Mobile App:

Providers and parents can log into the Wonderschool app and find their PIN by clicking their profile photo in the top left corner and selecting "Show pin code".

On the web in your Wonderschool Dashboard:

1. Click on "Students" from the left side menu under "School Management".
2. Select the student whose PIN you want to retrieve.
   1. In the student's information, scroll down to the "Family & Emergency Contact" and click on the pen icon next to the contact to view the PIN code.
3. If you need to edit the parent's PIN number, you can select the green arrows icon to refresh the PIN. If you would prefer not to use a PIN, you can turn that option off.
4. Make sure to save any changes you've made before you close the window.
5. If you do not see a PIN number for a parent, it is likely because they have not yet activated their account. If you need support resending an invitation to a parent, reach out to our support team at [e-mail].

To find your PIN numbers for staff, take the following steps:

1. Click on "Staff" under "School Management" and click on a staff profile. The staff member can use their individual PIN code to log into the shared device. 
   
2. To edit the staff member to use a PIN code, click on the circular arrows next to PIN code.
