Achievement Badges for Providers

Badges are used to help showcase your own unique education and experience on your website, and are created using documentation of your previous experiences. Please use the below information as your guide:

The categories of badges are:

• Years of experience (infant & toddler, preschool, and school age)
• Education (ECE credits or degrees)
• Other education (non-ECE degrees)
• Credentials (teaching permits, Montessori credential, CDA, other special certifications, etc.)
• Parent

Please provide documentation pertaining to the above categories! Documentation can include transcripts, certificates of completion for certifications or credentials (not trainings), letters of experience from previous employers, diplomas and any other verification that is relevant.

What's the difference between a training and a certification?

A training is something you attend and get a certificate of completion/attendance at the end (such as, a training on Infant Safe Sleep Practices or attending a conference). A certification is something you earn and generally has a renewal date attached (such as a Site Supervisor Permit, Teacher License, CPR/1st Aid, Child Development Associate course).
