Wonderschool No-Show Tour Policy
Tour Cancellations
You can cancel your scheduled tour directly on our website.
Wonderschools are small, intimate programs that spend the majority of their time teaching the children that are enrolled in their schools. As a result, when tours are scheduled, our Directors typically hire an assistant to teach while they give parents a tour of the school. As a result, it can be very disruptive to the school if a tour is cancelled with less than 24 hours notice, or the person that scheduled the tour doesn’t show up.
To assist us in maintaining a consistently high level of education in our schools, we ask that parents cancel any tour they cannot attend at least 24 hours prior to the tour. If you have any questions, please contact us directly so you are not marked as a no-show.
Why was my tour canceled?
If you didn’t cancel your tour but received an email cancellation notice, and have not received an email from the school explaining why, that means the school has marked your reservation as cancelled in our tour booking system. This could have been by accident, or intentionally if the school could not give you a tour at that time. If this happens, please contact us directly to help you reschedule the tour with the school or another school that would fit your preferences.
No-shows and late cancellations
No-shows and late cancellations are very disruptive to a Wonderschool’s daily routine, and typically cost our directors a significant amount of time and money.
- Fail to honor or cancel a tour: Sometimes plans change and you can’t attend a tour. We understand that’s life and things happen. If you need to cancel or reschedule a tour, you can always do this directly on our website if it is more than 24 hours prior to your tour. Any cancellations made less than 24 hours before the tour are considered a no-show.
- Late Arrival: If you do not show up within 15 minutes of your scheduled tour, the school reserves the right to mark your reservation as a no-show.
No-show limits
If any family accumulates three no-show tours in a twelve-month period their Wonderschool account will be deactivated. To prevent no-shows on your account, make sure you reschedule or cancel your reservation at least 24 hours prior to the tour if your plans change.
If you need help cancelling or rescheduling a tour, or if you have questions about these policies, please email our team at hello@wonderschool.com.
