What is an Announcement?

An announcement message allows all providers org admins/location admins to send a general message to every parent and staff regardless of room at the same time. This is typically used for: 

• Emergency notifications
• School closures
• Other bulletin-like messages that require a notification

How to get started

1. To access the Announcement feature on the Wonderschool App, tap messages on the bottom navigation bar at the bottom of your phone screen.
2. Tap on new message icon on top right.
3. Click on Program name on top 
4. Type your message
5. Click the send icon

How do I know if my parents are seeing my Announcements?

Each announcement is delivered as a message with a push notification and in-app alert. Parents are able to view the new announcement as well as the history of announcements under messages.
