Using Messaging on the Wonderschool 2.0 App for Parents
Messaging is here! Providers and families using the Wonderschool 2.0 app are now able to send messages to keep in touch throughout the day. Parents can send messages to teachers (if their program has multiple classrooms) or send messages to the director of the program. Providers can send messages to parents regarding individual children, including individual messages for siblings.
To download the Wonderschool 2.0 app, get the link in this article here!
To view your messages with your provider, select "Messages" in the bottom menu of the app screen. If you have multiple children enrolled in a Wonderschool program, you may see multiple messages listed, one chat for each child.
To start a new message with your child's provider or teacher, select the blue message button in the bottom right corner of the app screen. Again, if you have multiple children, you'll be asked to select which child you would like to communicate about with their provider. If you child goes to a program where they have a director as well as an individual teacher (this is common is child care centers that have multiple classrooms), you will have the option to send a message to the director of the program or your child's teacher. You can select whoever you'd like the message to be sent to.
Start typing your message to the director or staff member you selected. You'll see at the top bubble icons of everyone who will receive your message. If multiple teachers are present in the classroom, your message will be received by all of them to ensure all are aware of the message you are sending.
