Using Messaging on the Wonderschool 2.0 App

Messaging is here! Providers and families using the Wonderschool 2.0 app are now able to send messages to keep in touch throughout the day. Parents can send messages to teachers (if their program has multiple classrooms) or send messages to the director of the program. Providers can send messages to parents regarding individual children, including individual messages for siblings.

To view your messages, select "Messages" at the bottom of your app screen. You will see options to view "Messages".

If you have multiple staff members added to Wonderschool, you will see "Other Chats", which are conversations your teachers are having with parents on their separate devices. As an admin, you are able to see all conversations. If you do not see "Other Chats", there are no conversations started between teachers and individual families.

1. To create a new chat, tap the pencil icon in the top right corner of the app screen.
2. Select the student to send a message to the parents.
3. Messages will go to both parents if more than one parent is listed as a parent/legal guardian in the student's profile. To add more parents/guardians, use these steps here.
