Using Messaging on the Wonderschool 2.0 App

Messaging is here! Providers and families using the Wonderschool 2.0 app are now able to send messages to keep in touch throughout the day. Parents can send messages to teachers (if their program has multiple classrooms) or send messages to the director of the program. Providers can send messages to parents regarding individual children, including individual messages for siblings.

To view your messages, select "Messages" at the bottom of your app screen. You will see options to view "My Chats", which are current messages you have going with your enrolled families. 

If you have multiple staff added to Wonderschool, you will see "Other Chats", which are conversations your teachers are having with parents. As an admin, you are able to see all conversations. If you do not see "Other Chats", there are no conversations started between teachers and individual families.

               

To create a new chat, select the blue chat button on the bottom right corner of the app screen. Select the student to chat with their parents. Messages will go to both parents if more than one parent is listed as a parent/legal guardian in the students profile.
